“I started my career developing mobile apps and 6 years later discovered a passion for user experience and product management.
3 years ago I was actively searching for an opportunity outside of the Middle East, more specifically in Europe. Some part of me wanted to make a bigger impact – and still does; while the other part was just curious about the European culture and lifestyle.
At first I had no luck, so I dropped the whole idea. When I came across the opening at trivago, I was very intrigued by the job description and the actual work I’ll be doing. As I progressed through the hiring process, I fell in love with the culture, the diversity of people, the product and the role.
Fast forward a few months, trivago didn’t disappoint! I spend my days in search of new ways to improve our core product, testing a lot of hypothesis and brainstorming with engineers, product designers, user researchers, to name a few. As the travel industry picks up, the challenge rises but so does the opportunity to present our users with the best experience.”
