Senior Email Marketing Manager

Our Brand Experience and Engagement team is looking for an Email Marketing Manager to help take trivago’s marketing efforts to the next level. You will work in a cross-functional team alongside apps marketing, interface product managers, frontend and backend engineers, as well as brand and creative marketing.

Your goal will be to help the team achieve the collective goal of building a cohesive, trustworthy user experience that spans across across trivago’s channels and platforms.

 How you’ll make an impact:

  • Help expand coverage of our existing newsletter communications to improve efficiency and drive revenue. 
  • Identify new opportunities for inspiring upper-funnel communications in line with strategic objectives around re-engaging our existing user base. 
  • Collaborate with our technical engineering teams to unlock automation opportunities and improve communication quality. 
  • Partner with stakeholders like designers, copywriters, and technical email specialists to deliver newsletters and scope new opportunities. 
  • Analyze and report on the performance of email campaigns, digging into the data to spot new opportunities
  • Stay up to date with email marketing and CRM trends, share with the wider team and implement in campaigns.

What we’re looking for:

  • 2-3 years' experience in email or content marketing.
  • A creative eye with a passion for building engaging content, delighting customers and bringing them back to trivago again and again.
  • A meticulous project coordinator who can compile ambitious, yet realistic communication calendars, leveraging key seasonal events and ongoing brand campaigns. 
  • A drive for results with a can-do attitude, capable of pushing through new campaigns from concept phase to delivery.
  • A data-driven mindset capable of using analytics to identify opportunity size and prioritize new initiatives. 
  • Fluency in English language.
