By comparing prices from major booking sites, we're making it easy for people to find hotels they want at a price they’ll love. In the lively city of Düsseldorf, we seize opportunities to learn everyday, innovate, and make an enduring mark on the travel industry. A career at trivago is a journey designed for people who crave continuous development and want to thrive in a high-performing team. Here you will find those who aren't afraid of change but rather embrace it, turning every challenge into a pathway for growth. Join trivago, work with a great team, and grow with us!

Join us in making a difference

Every month, over 120 million users rely on the trivago website for finding their perfect getaway. This requires the highest quality possible and our product and UX teams ensure that our product delivers on this expectation.

Do you want to learn how to make an impact on a product that affect millions of people globally every single day? Do you want to help travelers find their ideal hotel at the best rate and boost our core product to the next level? We’re looking for a passionate Product Management Intern to join our Hotel Search Product team and discover and deliver innovative improvements to our website and app ─ are you up for it? Then read on and apply!

How you’ll make an impact:

  • As a Product Management Intern in Hotel Search, you will be mentored by and collaborate with a Senior Product Manager to take part in the whole life cycle of your initiatives: from ideation and research, to driving development and analyzing performance for future optimization
  • Use the Continuous Discovery Framework to find, define and validate business opportunities and user problems worth solving
  • Build test plans and, for successful tests, support the production implementation
  • Collaborate with a large cross-functional team involving experts in User Research, Product Analytics, UX and Design, Frontend Development and Quality Assurance
  • Learn across varieties of Scrum and Kanban, lean development methods, rapid assumption testing and dual track agile discovery and delivery

What you'll need to thrive:

  • Availability for a full-time, 12 month internship and a valid work visa
  • Basic understanding of product delivery processes
  • Proactive attitude: You are eager to find and work on problems to solve and to see progress from day one
  • Leadership skills: You have a vision of what you want to achieve, can inspire others to follow your ideas and have the drive to push them through to execution
  • Willingness to learn from a cross-functional product team
  • To speak fluent English (our company language)

Worried about missing a few requirements? Still apply, and express your motivation as you may just be the right candidate for this or other roles!

For non-EU citizens: please note that student visas do not permit you to work full-time for 12 months.

What you can look forward to:

As you grow, so do we.

This is why at trivago, we prioritize your development, offer personalized coaching through Likeminded, and provide workshops, educational meetups, conferences, free online learning courses, and access to a fully-equipped campus library.

Moving to join us?

No problem. You can count on the visa support from our talent support team, a relocation reimbursement, free language classes, regular team and company-wide events to build experiences together.

Life happens.

We offer paid vacation days during your internship, flexible working hours, 2 WFH days weekly, and the chance to work remotely for selected days abroad.

Enjoy your office days.

Use your daily canteen budget to share lunch with colleagues in our canteen, help yourself to complimentary snacks and drinks in our kitchens, stay healthy with our on-site gym and sports classes, and enjoy the comfort of ergonomic desks and focused work areas.
