How you’ll make an impact:
- Be responsible for our SEO strategy, including keyword monitoring, URL structure, and SEO performance optimization
- Drive product management activities: prioritization with team and stakeholders, requirements gathering, roadmap planning, build test plans for experiments, facilitate team ceremonies
- Organize a highly skilled cross functional team of software engineers, designers and data analysts – and together discover and test solutions to complex hypothesis and data driven problems that have high value to trivago
- Work with the team to understand complexity of work, technical or specific details and what trade-offs can be made in terms of value, complexity and time
- Break complex technical projects into well-sequenced deliverables
- Stay up-to-date on SEO trends, algorithm changes, and best practices
What you'll need to thrive:
- Minimum 2-3 years direct SEO experience, specializing in digital businesses, ideally in travel
- Proficiency in technical SEO practices, analytics tools, and web technologies (HTML/CSS, JavaScript)
- Skilled in identifying strategic SEO opportunities and leveraging data to achieve business objectives
- Capable of tackling new projects with high uncertainty, providing structured approaches
- Strong communication skills, including leading discussions with external providers, and collaborating across teams
- Fluency in English (our company language)
Stand out with:
- Experience with different testing methodologies
- Prior experience driving SEO projects within the travel industry
- Basic UI/UX knowledge and prototyping tools such as Figma
