How you’ll make an impact:
- Develop robust, secure, and innovative solutions using your comprehensive knowledge of security practices, combined with your proficiency and experience in programming
- Take responsibility for all security domains of the company as part of a small team
- Motivate and inspire engineers to design, develop, and operate services in a secure way without giving up the focus on productivity
- Be a security ambassador by raising awareness and weave a security mindset into every aspect of the company
- Develop a very good understanding of the company's business and scope, to determine the IT security demands and shape the company's security strategy
Our tech stack:
What you'll need to thrive:
- Demonstrable 5+ years' expertise as a Security SRE, SecDevOp or Cyber Security Specialist with a focus on secure software development practices in the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environment
- Degree in computer science, cyber security, or a related field
- In-depth knowledge of security frameworks, standards, and regulations
- Proficiency in at least one programming language, preferrably Java EE, and Spring Framework. Alternative Golang, Python or Rust
- Good understanding of web application security principles, OWASP Top Ten, and secure coding practices
- Understanding of office IT security principles and a solid understanding of security tools used to detect, monitor and enforce IT security.
- Ability to implement and enforce security policies, procedures, and guidelines
- Expertise in conducting security assessments, code reviews, and penetration testing
- Solid problem-solving and communication skills with the ability to address complex security challenges collaboratively
Stand out with:
- Outstanding knowledge of cloud security, preferrably GCP
- Hands-on experience as a SecDevOp / Developer / Pentester / Administrator / Network Administrator
- Expertise in implementing security GRC structures (ISO/IEC 27x, ISMS)
- Proficiency in using Akamai security products
- Prior experience in the travel industry or familiarity with its security considerations is advantageous
