Customer Success Sales Representative – French

At trivago, everyday is an opportunity to connect millions of travelers around the world with the best hotel deals. By comparing prices from multiple booking sites, we’re simplifying the way people find their perfect getaway, making their travel experiences even more enjoyable. Our global brand sits in the vibrant city of Düsseldorf, Germany, where innovation and creativity thrive. Together with our international team of highly skilled and ambitious talents, we’re shaping the future of travel – to make it simpler and better.

Join us in making a difference!

At trivago, our Sales & Account Management team is key to our ongoing success, and we’re looking for energetic and highly motivated individuals to help foster strong relationships with our valued clients. As a Sales Agent in our Customer Success team, your passion and drive will play a crucial role in expanding our hotelier portfolio and achieving your monthly targets. By proactively onboarding, supporting, and educating our hotel clients, you'll help them unlock more revenue opportunities. Ready to bring your high energy to a fast-paced team? Apply today!

How you’ll make an impact:

  • Acquire hoteliers (our customers) by raising awareness and selling our products, including cold calling with confidence and enthusiasm.
  • Thrive in a goal-oriented, high-energy environment with clear monthly targets.
  • Proactively create new processes and optimize existing ones to ensure client success and maximize profit potential.
  • Stay motivated to resolve client requests quickly, preventing churn and ensuring ongoing satisfaction.
  • Be an approachable, energetic, and professional point of contact for our hoteliers.
  • Reconnect with churned hoteliers and bring them back onboard with passion.

What you'll need to thrive:

  • Native-level French proficiency with fluent English skills (our company language).
  • 1-2 years' experience in a high-energy, fast-paced sales environment, ideally including cold calling, preferably in the travel industry.
  • A vibrant personality – you’re comfortable and motivated to reach out to our hoteliers proactively by phone.
  • Proactivity – you’re always looking for ways to make things better for your hoteliers and aren’t afraid to take initiative.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively build rapport with both new and existing hoteliers.

Stand out with:

  • Previous experience in a call-center.
  • Knowledge/experience with CRM (specifically Salesforce).

Worried about missing a few requirements? Still apply, and express your motivation as you may just be the right candidate for this or other roles!

Please note that due to the commission model of this role, the minimum base salary required for certain German work/residence (e.g. Blue Card) permits will not be met. Therefore, applicants must be either an EU citizen, possess permanent residency in Germany, or hold a German permit based on family reunion (§30 Aufenthaltsgesetz)

What you can look forward to:

As you grow, so do we.
This is why at trivago, we prioritize your development, offer personalized coaching through Likeminded, and provide workshops, educational meetups, conferences, free online learning courses, and access to a fully-equipped campus library.

Moving to join us?
No problem. You can count on the visa support from our talent support team, a relocation package, interest-free newcomer loan, free language classes, regular team and company-wide events to build experiences together.

We offer self-determined vacation (with a minimum of 25 vacation days), flexible working hours, 2 WFH days weekly, the chance to work remotely for 20 days abroad, free access to the Heynanny platform for personalized nanny assistance, and an on-campus kids room.

Enjoy your office days.
Use your daily canteen budget to share lunch with colleagues in our canteen, help yourself to complimentary snacks and drinks in our kitchens, stay healthy with our on-site gym and sports classes, and enjoy the comfort of ergonomic desks and focused work areas.
