Our Data Intelligence unit is at the center of all other units in the company facilitating data-driven decision making. As a Product Analyst in our Product Intelligence team, you'll have the opportunity to work with some of the richest datasets from the travel industry, drawing conclusions from A/B tests to take our product to the next level. How you’ll make an impact:
- Analyze and interpret user behavior to uncover insights that will inform key business decisions
- Provide analytical consultation on product testing – from test set up, to logging specification – to product teams
- Monitor data regularly to spot trends, find anomalies, and analyze active A/B tests to elevate our product
- Be responsible for your KPIs, from definition and data processing, to reporting and visualization
- Proactively communicate and share your conclusions and educate on interpreting and analyzing results tailored to the audience
- Deliver datasets to build data-driven product features
- Work closely with product teams to find, define, and validate business opportunities and user problems worth solving
What you'll need to thrive:
- Proven minimum 6 years' work experience as a Data Analyst or similar role with focus on statistics, data exploration, and visualization
- Analytical skills with the ability to draw conclusions from significant amounts of data with a keen eye for detail in order to create actionable insights
- Solid knowledge and practical experience in A/B testing
- a good understanding of data analysis and statistical concepts with experience in applying them
- Excellent knowledge of data querying and transformation (SQL) and at least one programming language, preferable R or Python
- Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop or Big query
- Ability to prioritize effectively and work independently in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment
- Proactive communication skills for dealing with non-technical stakeholders in a clear and straightforward way
Stand out with:
- Experience in data orchestration tools like Oozie or Airflow
- Relevant working experience as a Product Analyst
