How you’ll make an impact:
- Detect and flag non-human interactions to ensure data purity and safeguard our datasets from crawler activity.
- Provide technical support in setting up data protocols for accurate human interaction tracking, collaborating closely with teams to secure robust data practices.
- Regularly monitor data streams to identify suspicious patterns and anomalies, ensuring action is taken swiftly to maintain dataset integrity.
- Own the metrics related to data hygiene, from detection to documentation and visualization, ensuring transparency across teams.
- Communicate findings effectively, educating the team on detecting and interpreting system irregularities and tailoring insights to non-technical audiences.
- Supply clean datasets that pave the way for developing reliable data-driven business strategies.
What you’ll need to thrive:
- Proven minimum 3 years’ work experience as a Data Analyst or similar role with focus on statistics, data exploration, and visualization
- Analytical skills with the ability to draw conclusions from significant amounts of data with a keen eye for detail in order to create actionable insights
- Solid experience in data monitoring and anomaly detection.
- Excellent knowledge of data querying and transformation (SQL) and at least one programming language, preferable Python or R
- Experience with big data technologies such as BigQuery or Hadoop
- Ability to prioritize effectively and work independently in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment
- Proactive communication skills for presenting technical findings to non-technical stakeholders clearly and concisely
Stand out with:
- Experience in data orchestration tools like Airflow or Oozie
- Solid knowledge and practical experience in A/B testing
